The National IT Board (NITB) and the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) have signed an MoU to collaborate on the design, development, deployment, integration, operationalization, and hosting of the National Pharmaceutical Products Track & Trace System. This transformative initiative will enable: • End-to-end visibility • Traceability, authentication, and regulatory oversight • Real-time monitoring of pharmaceutical products across the supply chain. This system aims to combat counterfeit, substandard, and unregistered medicines, ensuring greater public health protection and strengthening trust in Pakistan's healthcare sector. Together, NITB and DRAP are advancing #digitalgovernance to deliver safer healthcare outcomes for citizens nationwide.
